Linda Kauss
Pickleball Instructor
One of the top Women's senior Pro Pickleball players. Linda is the 2016 Huntsman World Games women's doubles 55+ Champion. She is a 5 time US Open Medalist and 8 time National Medalist. She is also the National Senior Mixed Doubles champion with her husband Del. Linda is widely recognized for her skill in teaching and helping students improve their skills.
She has been Married to her husband Del for 43 years and has 4 adult children who are also accomplished tennis and pickleball players.
Her clinics will focus on helping each student maximize their skills. She will focus on correcting shot making, skills and strategy appropriate for your skill set.
MARIO YEARWOOD
Padel Instructor
Mario represented his country, Panama, for 12 years in 20-meter Frontenis. His last competition was in 2012, at Havana Cuba, where he won first place at the Captain San Luis World Championship Tournament.
Mario has been playing Padel for the last 10 years in category 1st and 2nd including tournaments in Medellin, Argentina, and Miami. Mario has shared the padel court with important international players from Spain and Argentina, winning four Category 2nd championships and one at the Category 1st level.
Mario became a certified Padel Coach in 2021 earning his Padel MBA from the school of Manu Martinez. Since earning this credential, Mario has been teaching Padel to beginners, intermediate and advanced players helping many of his trainees win tournaments of their own.
When teaching Padel, Mario is known for providing both the necessary tools to playing a comprehensive way and showing progress while having fun. Mario will create an individualized plan to fit the needs of each player accommodating their strengths, while developing them continuously to achieve their short, medium and long-term objectives.
To quote Mario, “Padel is not just a game, it is a discipline.”
Adam Bews
Squash Instructor
Adam Bews is a native of the Orkney Islands in northern Scotland, and has dedicated 27 years to playing squash, starting at the age of 8. Adam represented Scotland as a junior player and achieved a top-ranked status as a senior player. He also assumed the role of captain at Edinburgh University for multiple years.
More recently, Adam transitioned to the United States where he has been coaching for the past 11 years. Currently ranked 6th in the World, Adam is one of the top doubles professionals in the game. Adam has achieved the title of U.S. national champion and has triumphed in numerous professional events. Passionate about coaching squash at all ages and skill levels, Adam welcomes those interested in lessons to reach out to him.
Anas Ghazanfar
Squash Instructor
Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, Anas's journey in squash began at the age of 12. Representing Pakistan in esteemed tournaments like the British Junior Open and the Doha Junior Open, he honed his skills and earned certification as an ASF Level 1 instructor. His passion for the sport led him to pursue academic endeavors in Minnesota, USA, where he played a pivotal role as the top player for the University of Minnesota squash team.
Anas dedicated his time and expertise as Head Coach at Beyond Walls, a non-profit program serving marginalized youth, guiding aspiring athletes with dedication and care. In competition, he has earned titles such as the Minnesota State Squash Championship and notable runner-up finishes in national tournaments, including the US Squash National Championships and the Champion Fibreglass Open in Houston. He strives to foster growth and development in players of all levels.
Anas approaches coaching with a genuine desire to see his students succeed. Through tailored instruction and encouragement, he aims to help each player reach their full potential, one match at a time. Join Anas on a journey of improvement, camaraderie, and shared love for the game of squash.
